Geographically, Delamere acts across the whole of the UK. The landlord and tenant advisory service specializes in the Cheshire region; however Ben Grant advises clients on development sites everywhere from Cornwall to London to Scotland.
We aim to provide expert advice on a personal and professional basis, as a testament to our services many clients we act for Ben has been working with for over 10 years.
We are retained by a range of investors and developers on acquisitions and disposals of land and development sites, we work closely as part of a development team on development sites for all use classes, particularly Industrial, retail and residential. We also act for retained clients on landlord/tenant issues, long-leasehold renewals and freehold-acquisition on behalf of tenants.

Founding Partner Ben Grant began his career in the property industry in 2002 at Butters John Bee, the largest firm of Chartered Surveyors in Cheshire and Staffordshire. Ben worked in residential agency, commercial agency, land agency and commercial property management. Whilst at BJB Ben was involved in all types of commercial property, letting and selling retail, offices, industrial, student accommodation, land and licenced premises. At the time BJB acted for nearly all of North Staffordshire’s largest developers and landlords with the largest coverage in the region.
In 2007 Ben was then head hunted by a regional house builder to join the Land Buying team as in-house Development Surveyor, involved in single plots up to sites of 200+ houses across the whole of the North West and Midlands. Ben also managed all of the company’s investments which included Co-op Food-stores, Sainsburys, Jackson-Stop and led the development of part of a North Wales retail park which is home to KFC, Premier Inn and now Aldi. In 2009 Ben then set-up Delamere to offer his services, using the wide range of experience and knowledge gained from acting as agent and also working Client-Side.
We now have an expanding team to manage residential portfolios across Cheshire and beyond, to aid our main office in Stapeley, Cheshire we also have a satellite office in Crewe.
